Do the hosts on SNL help write the skits?

Maybe it's just me but I've noticed that when someone who seems inexperienced on Saturday Night Live is hosting, the skits are dumb, or have dumb ideas. Do the hosts help write the skits or have any say over the skits they are in?

Pet Bird For Beginner?

Hello there! I was looking for a pet bird (obviously) for myself. I have owned a bird before, a little finch, but this wasn't the best experience for me. I would like to have a bird that is affectionate, quiet, and very, very friendly. I'm not too big on how pretty a bird looks, or how sweetly it sings. Those are all pluses, don't get me wrong, but I'm looking for a companion. I have all the time in the world to train and care for my pet bird. I'd like the price ranges of some breeds of birds as well. Any help you give me would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Want to conduct interviews in a hotel...is there a meeting area that I could reserve?

I am conducting interviews for my business and we wanted to conduct them on an off-premise location. I was looking at the nearby hotels in the area...instead of renting a room for a week is it possible to rent a small banquet area with a table? Which would be more cost-effective?

Michael Jackson Terry George Investigation whats' the point?

Im a Michael Jackson fan and I don't' believe he molested any Children but I read on sky news that the FBI are doing a Investigation into the alleged abuse of this man called Terry George who use to be friends with Michael but fell out when Michael got ually improper over the phone with him not my words. But my point and rant is what exactly is the point of the FBI Investigating this claim when Michael is dead and also why cant' people just leave Michael alone it was proven he did nothing wrong and he was found not guilty by a court of law. Its' really disrespectful and just another way for the media to talk badly about Michael.I think its' over the top to be honest the FBI Investigating this claim ! I mean Michael wasn't' Hitler for crying out loud !
