Fake calls from windows?

i just had a phone call on my phone telling me i had virus on my laptop they were calling from windows?? i was weary as never had this before or how they got my home number,they guided me on my laptop to my computer and i saw lots of error messages he told me to delete these but i had no option to delete so he told me my virus was a hacker and was to advanced!! he then forwarded me to a another guy and he told me to got to team viewer which i did then he had acces to my laptop and was writing on m y note pad what things i need eg spyware and told me to chose a contract i declined as i would never give my bank details out he then told me if i cant pay he cant do anything he was persist but i still declined he then told me i could not use my laptop for one week ,i was very put off and im worried now that because i let him into my laptop via teamveiwer that iv let him scam me please help have i just saved my self or is it too late???
