I ahve been having trouble with my wireless connection it keeps disconnecting and getting a erratic signal?

I am using a linksys wrt54g router. I have found a corrupt file in windows\system32\drivers\tifm21.sys. I have also just installed trend micro internet security 2007. Any ideas???
