Urinary problems please help!?

n the past 3 months give or take I've noticed a weird smell to my urine. At first I figured it was a bladder infection. I've had them before but this was different because usually bladder infections get steadily worse if you don't do anything about it. This has stayed consistently the same. When I have to go to the bathroom to urinate it feels like I really have to go bad sometimes. This isn't ALL the time but most of the time and its an odd sweet smell kind of like maple syrup. It looks pretty normal in color though.. Maybe a lil cloudy. Like I said not all the time but most of the time and its not painful... Just a little uncomfortable. I finally googled my symptoms today and it said this is a sign of diabetes... I'm 23 years old though wouldn't I know if I had diabetes? I also think it may have to do with my diet because I moved out of my parents house around the time it started so I probably haven't been eating very well. I'd go to the doctor but I don't have health insurance... Although I may have to anyway. Has anyone ever heard of this? Any advice or input would be greatly appreciated!
