Why are we being rushed during the SAT.?

OMG thats exactly how i feel about the ACT test. They give us like 25 questions for 25 minutes for each section. In one section they give like 30 questions in 25 minutes. LIKE WTF? thats less then a minute for each question. I'm a straight A student as well, i'm smart.. but the timing on these standardized test is crazy. it scares me to death. idk what to tell you.. i'm going through the same thing..
