Why the US government says that osaba bin laden was killed when its not true?

if he really was killed, how come the government didn't publish a photo of his corpse to show it to the world. other countries had shown pictures of other people to show that they were really killed. for example. che guevara, a argentine guerilla leader had a picture taken of his corpse. saddam hussein execution was recorded. how come the US government did not release a proof that osama is dead? i still believe he is still alive.
