53 years to go from bitter rivals to cooperative achievements? Is it a sign?

You speak of a eutopia of world peace. I think we all want this but it is impossible until the world puts their religions behind them. Religion is in my oppinion the major barrier to world peace. Without religion there is no need to "fight in the name of god". So hopefully soon we will be able to achieve world peace but for now that is still wishful thinking.
